Tuesday's Treasure

I treasured this moment…
when baby dove was being protected by devoted parents.
It was very hot outside and yet they stayed by its side even though being on the catwalk isn’t the safest place for a family of doves….
I love these tender moments in nature.

So so sweet. I think some redbirds have a nest in my little tree but it's hard to see and they make alot of noise when I try and get close.

Awesome pictures. There's a little redbird here that stops in to eat the dog food, but so far my camera hasn't been at the ready! :)

Beautiful. I also have seen more doves than any other bird this year. I actually saw a baby at my feeder with Mom right beside her. No camera near of course!

Everywhere I look I see orange now!

Thank you Joni. You just reminded me of the day that the sandhill crane family entrusted their chick to me to babysit whilst the parents meandered around my yard. They had always been extremely protective (the dad primarily ... an excellent protector [for each of the several years that they visited]). So it was an honor and Life's compliment to me when Mom and Dad guided their offspring right up to within a few feet of where I sat and talked to them. It nestled into the grass. And its parents drifted away without so much as a backward glance. I was thrilled!

I do enjoy loving you.

Hi Joni,

I just started a long pursuit to complete the required coursework to sit for the CPA exam. I got a bachelor's degree in 1981 in Math & English to teach secondary students. But I've worked in an accounting firm for the last 11 years preparing taxes and financial statements, meeting with clients, etc. I decided it was time to take the accounting and business classes required for the cpa exam. It will take me a long time to take all of them while working full time. There is no option of working less. So right now, I'm taking Macroeconomics. Planning to take beginning managerial accounting from July 15 to August 15, and then Intermediate Accounting in the Fall.
