I am suppose to pick 6 random things about me, but I think I'll twist it a bit and put 6 random things I do...just for fun!

1. I like to put coins in parking meters that are about to expire, this is especially fun when there are meter monitors in the vicinity!
Good deeds never go undone...

2. Sometimes when eating out at restaurants I like to close my eyes and randomly select my food from the menu by ordering whatever my finger points at...good thing I like everything!

3. I like sitting in random seats in the classrooms at school, this drives some of my friends crazy because they need to move around if they are to sit by me....but I like new focal points!

4. I have a ton of random thoughts that I like to talk with good friends about over coffee...like "Why do mens and womens shirts button up on the opposite sides?"

5. I enjoy taking time out to observe and appreciate random things like....blades of grass, flower petals, people playing acoustic guitars on street corners, winter scarves with lots of color, and little kids in the grocery store lines.

6. I love to pick random scriptures out of the bible and meditate on them for a few minutes in the beginning of my day or at the end of my night...it's always interesting where "random" can lead.

Tutor at the High School from 7:55-8:50.

Yes, it's true. I have been tagged and that means YOU my dear friends must endure some trivial information about me once again. Sweet Jules from Jules Stones has prompted me to share 7 random things about myself and then guess what? That's right...to pick 7 of YOU to do the same thing! So here goes...and yes, some of these things may have been revealed at other times, so just read through them quickly and you'll never know the difference...

1) I am a non-traditional student in the fact that I have returned to college to earn my degree and teaching credential...yes, at the age of 44 I finally figured out what I want to be when I grow up~

2) I have a huge soft spot for animals. I always cry during movies when they die or get injured...I even cried while watching Free Willy!

3) When I was about three I had my right ear bitten off by a dog and the reconstruction surgery left me with a slightly pointed ear, hardly noticeable now that I am an adult~

4) I have a pierced nose, something much more common in California I'm sure~

5) My favorite places to hang out, other than the garden at my home or around the table at a friend's house, are book stores, coffee shops (of the non-Starbuck's type), and antique stores~

6) I am not a picky eater. I like all foods and will try anything new, although my favorites are garden-fresh vegetables organically grown and I rarely eat red meat~

7) My favorite number is 2, because one is never enough and three is usually too many. I have found this to apply to most things, especially chocolate chip cookies!
