This is a project I would like to finish as soon as my semester break arrives. It had about five layers of paint in various colors....white, cream, gold, light blue, cream again....remnants of those who came before me.
It frames my bathroom medicine cabinet....I think I want to stain it, but I'm wondering how to properly preserve the swirly design in the wood.
Don't laugh...I thought about using an emery board to sand out the nooks and crannies, but realizing that was both silly and not to mention it would take me forever, I thought I would ask for suggestions...the wood itself is about forty years old. To some degree I have most of the paint removed, but now I am lost!
