I'm not sure if it's out of boredom or a streak of craftiness, but I've been feeling a l-i-t-t-l-e creative - which only happens once in a BLUE MOON - so imagine my delight at having finished these cute little pillows for Kristin's place. Guess what they're made from. Yep, placemats. Watch out Martha Stewart.

Placemats for pillows - how cool is that? They are very pretty. My sister makes aprons out of dish towels and potholders. To be honest, she didn't make them - her daughter did.

I am busy making pillows but am still learning how to do the piping around the edge....... and having to leave a little spot in order to stuff them....... Then go back and sew up that little spot! hahah but I have 4 finished and about 6 more to make........ I love little pillows!
I am just catching up after a move. The pillows a very pretty. What a great idea to use place mats. I've been trying to figure out what to do in the living room couch....thanks!
