I made the season's first batch of suntea today. It was almost ceremonial. The sudden surge of heat has caused my garden to grow like crazy...wow! The bees are buzzing, the flowers are blooming, but no lady bugs yet.
At least the Aphids are happy...little buggers!

The same thing happened here in Texas! I was outside yesterday thinking I would trim a few bushes that were growing really fast, when I kept finding these wild trees that had literally grown feet in the last week or so it seems. Oh well, at least we can plant flowers now!

Good Morning, Joni,

Yes, get your face out of those books and get outside! I am a little pink this morning after our day at the zoo. That first really warm day, combined with the first sunburn, marks the beginning of the season to me. Oh, us Minnesotan know we could have snow all the way up to Memorial Day, but it's still really spring now.

Hoping your day is filled with warmth and sunshine, and easy lessons to learn, and lots of love and joy.

If I see those roaming Ladybugs I'll be sure to tell them to hurry up, you're waiting.

Hope you're enjoying every breath of Spring!

O.k. stop complaining about the heat you are making me so jealous. I pulled out my long johns yesterday. It's been so cold all week, I do see some spring things happening, like the cats peeing in my window wells to mark their territory but that is it!

and our sudden heat wave, 102 degrees, kind of stunts our plants growth :) the roses were blooming so vigourously, but kind of had heat stroke!...but weather should be cooling again for a very short time, so will enjoy what is and what will be!
where oh where have those ladybugs gone?....they sure are taking their sweet time!
love to you dear friend,
kimberly

I cannot wait for blooms! We barely have green peeking up out of the ground. I am in process of uncovering...leaves and more leaves!
Lovely!

Yes, this weather is sure something. this weeke we have had 80 degree days and the trees are really leafing out. Seems like over night it happens. But more storms in the forecast next week starting Sunday. Tis the season for the storms....Tornado season at its finest!

Hope you finally get some lady bugs to come visit.

It is so nice to welcome spring! Hang in there with school. It will be worth it in the end...or at least that is what I keep telling myself.

I love suntea, but it have been a while since I made suntea. Lately I been buying sweet tea by the gallons. Just finished the last of it.

On the suntea sounds so refreshing.
The weather has been weird all over the states. My neighbor planted corn last week and this week it is coming up already.

God Bless You Joni

Summer will be here soon and you don't have school right? You'll be able to enjoy again!

I don't have lots blooming because I don't plant any more, but love seeing yours!
