far away fridays

Sweet friends, I’m afraid I’ve depleted my stack of vacation pictures on CD that I could easily upload to my blog and since I do not have a scanner, I do not have the means to share what other pictures I have…so I will have to be resourceful to continue participating in “far away Fridays”, but for today I am sharing what might not be so far away to me, but is certainly far away for you…I drive about 17 miles to school (one way) everyday…not too far, but the campus is beautiful, so I thought I might take you on a little tour. There are quite a few pictures and I am turning the pages rather quickly, so try not to blink for the next minute or so and you can accompany me on a typical day's worth of sights...if you were here, we'd stop in and enjoy a cup of Peet's coffee along the way!

I've never relized how pretty that campus truley is, some of the pictures I remember from when you took Amanda's senior pictures there. The slide of the 2 white geese, when I saw them I thought there's me and Joni walking away from people, and the one of the single duck walking by its self..I thought there's Larry trying to catch up to us, some of the windows look like they have a cross, it's the way the desighned them, absoultley beautiful pictures, but then again you take gergous pictures, I love how you capture thing's in the right moment, you see something, that maybe someone else might not and snap it, thats what make's you, you!! Have a great day. Hug's Nettie

Actually, the right speed for me!

I don't know what campus this is, but it's the most beautiful I've seen. The nature!

Gorgeous and well done photos!

What a beautiful place to learn. A place does not have to be physically far to take you to another place. Enjoy your Friday and your weekend.

what a beautiful campus, joni....i don't know if you've ever mentioned the name?

i know school conjurs up hard work, lots of details for the mind to remember and stress.....but this place seems to also give a person the chance to find a spot to relax, drink some coffee and just be soothed a bit from all the demands.....i love all the greenery and water....my kind of place.....(just for peet's tho!) :)
thanks for the walk through your day!
hugs,
kimberly

Sharing a 'coffee time' at Peet's with you sounds too good to let pass. Count me as a definite "in!"

Your campus us so serenely set. You are blessed with an atmosphere that invites thought and learning.

Loving you...

I find myself trying to write with a bit of anonymity because there have been a few notable security issues with some of our sweet blogger friends. Sadly, there are people doing 'not so nice' things out there...(they need Jesus in their lives)...so I have made an attempt to not be so forthcoming with a few details...

but...I guess it's no secret where I live...this is CSU Stanislaus.

I've had TWO blog neighbors who have either omitted their blog completely or changed their site just because of senseless mayhem,
so be discretional with what you choose to post...very unfortunate.
