Tuesday's Treasure

When I was about 17 or 18 I use to go around the house daydreaming about being married, what kind of house I would have, how many kids I would have and I always had it in my head that I would live in an old fashioned clapboard house with big Elm trees and my house would be filled with antique furniture, lace curtains and…you get the picture don’t you? Well, by virtue of getting my dream started, my mother gave this vanity set to me on my 18th birthday. That was a long time ago…by now it really is an antique. Some of the teeth are missing from the comb, because one of my little dreams (Kristin) liked to use the brush and comb when she felt like being a princess, so it’s a treasure for more than one reason :)

so pretty, and the memories it holds with missing teeth and all. My grandmother had one sitting on her dresser almost like that, I like the mirror, I'd say.."Mirror, mirror in my hand who's the nicest in the land?" or something like that, and my cousin would say in a deep voice"Not you Annette" o, I would get so mad and try to hit her with it....=) Love ya Nettie

Joni, thank you. All went well today during the exam. I almost cheated on coffee, I had two sips but felt so guilty!

I can almost see your little princess using this beautiful set! It's gorgeous...

They're lovely. I used to have a brush very similar as a child but of course being a child I ruined it and it has long gone now.

Joni, I wanted to email you but couldn't find an email adress on your blog, if you don't mind me emailing you can you please leave your address on my blog? Comment moderation is enabled and I won't share it with anyone.

Hugs.
