CoZy and CoNtEnT

Christmas is over. The joy is spent and now we lay around like fat cats enjoying our new toys. There is something very subtle and satisfying about these days. Time spent together, no deadlines, no schedules...just sheer contentment. These are the days I love to make soup and fill the house with aromas from the kitchen. I'm not quite ready to put away the Christmas stuff. I think I will leave it up until the New Year hoping this mood will linger a while longer. I'm not sure what we are doing to celebrate the New Year. We've had a few invitations from friends, but secretly I'd kind of like to stay home and have a movie night. I've been thinking about the events of 2007 and it truly has been a blessed year. It's amazing how quickly time passes. I really do look forward to 2008, I anticipate that it will be a year for change, a time for personal growth.

Good morning Joni. I agree with you about 2007. It did pass so fast and so many things happened good and not so good. All through 2007 I've felt the presence of God working in so many lives like yours as well as my own.

It's good to feel cozy and content. I think I'll go make some soup. :)
