Hope

Every day is a new beginning.

Summer is just zipping right by...and I've got to say that I've been enjoying it!
On a trip to Coronado I discovered the beautiful Jacaranda trees that are abundant in places like Florida and our coastal areas here in California, so I acquired some seeds
in hopes to grow my own Jacaranda tree.
She's off to a good start!

Two weeks ago my 19-year-old nephew Joe was diagnosed with Leukemia.
The very day he heard the news he was taken to Stanford Hospital to start chemotherapy.
Today he is fighting hard and consequently being an inspiration to me.
How dare I complain about not finding a full-time job...
Every day is a gift.
Truly.
Some things just aren't that important.

Best wishes to your nephew on his fight to conquer the C beast. I just had two sisters-in-law who had a return of their "cured" breast cancer. One now has liver cancer, and the other just had a double mastectomy. Cancer seems to be everywhere.....

And glad you posted so we at least know you are still alive!

Blessings to you my friend!
