summer fresh

My little patch of garden is growing so fast. Today I picked the first cucumber and it was delicious.
From garden to table...





















Fettuccine Alfredo, green salad and french bread (with wine butter) out on the patio. I'm loving this weather we have been having. I've been able to keep the windows open letting the breeze whisper in. I am totally captivated by these fresh June days, wish they would stay a while...

Oh yes! That looks wonderful! I am picking my cucumbers now and they taste so much better than the ones in the store! I am still waiting on my tomatoes but they will not be long!

yummmmy!...one of the best gardens we ever had was in sacramento....oh my....we had so much produce, bryan had to take it to work and give it away....for months!!!

That looks so yummy! I personally don't have the mindset for a garden but I sure enjoy visiting my mom's garden. My favorite cucumbers are the little yellow/green ones that she calls lemon cucumbers. Oh and the pear tomatoes are a delight of mine as well.

Here I am, adrift in a day filled with smoldering breezes that are quick to turn stagnant, looking for the sun to burn away the dust and sm...
