Brenda Photo Challenge: Beauty is in the eye of the beholder

California strawberries...look at these beauties!
...and they're delicious too!

A beautiful gift from a beautiful person...I wonder what it is? Stay tuned.

..and last but not least, an orchid a sweet classmate brought to me on my birthday. I think it is quite beautiful. I've never had an orchid before. They seem very fragile and mysterious, so wish me luck in caring for this one!

This Brenda Photo Challenge was brought to you today by Karen from Loved and Engraved. Do some blog-hoppin' and check out what others think to be beautiful!

Just a note to say, "yes, Portulaca is the same as moss rose. I think southerners refer to them as moss rose most often.

Hope you're having a great Sunday.

Those are the yummiest looking strawberries and I can almost taste them.

The orchid is beautiful; good luck on the caring. I've looked longingly at them in the nurseries but I don't trust myself with keeping it alive. :D I am not known for my growing skills. lol
