spring's precious moments

I spent most of the weekend trying to get writing assignments finished, but I had to steal away from the piles of books and crumpled papers to experience this moment and share it with you...

The season's first little batch of mourning doves
nature's gift of observation Who can resist the feelings
of hope and joy
that one gets from participating
in nature's rebirth?

I hope this won't be a duplicate comment; blogger is acting up this morning.

But, I wanted to thank you for sharing this experience with us. Yes, we always need to take time out if possible! Beautiful pictures. ((HUGS))

Beautiful pictures....I love spring, don't you? The newness of everything, the clean start in life. Yes, God's in His Heaven, and all is right with the world!

How sweet! Nesting in your hanging basket, huh? We had a dove nest in one of ours and DH didn't know it when he went to water the plant. I don't know who was ready to have a heart attack first - the wet bird or poor DH! LOL.

Great signs of spring! It's too early for those here, but we have hope!

By the way, your senior picture is GORGEOUS! I enjoyed seeing those momentos of your father's. I have similar things from my parents and grandparents, and hope one day to have something from my birth parents as well.

Thanks for always making me feel better!

What a quiet, peaceful moment. I'm glad you got a chance to enjoy it and share it with us. I'm off to work in my back yard and will be watching for a "moment".

Oh how perfect! That is definitely a treasure to stop for.
I have a bird house by my window that the finches occupy most of the year but I can never stick my head in a way to be able to see the little babies. Plus the dad is an ever present protector.

I received you note. Thank you so much. I am hoping to get to the post office tomorrow and send your package on its way.

Blessings to you my friend.
