Funny how that happens.

So true. . . I love those words of wisdom! You asked about the snow effect. I had seen it on other blogs and so I googled it and this is the link to go to : http://www.bloggerbuster.com/2008/12/simple-snow-effect-widget-for-blogger.html
then just click on "Add snow effect to your blogger blog"
My mother never said any of those things, but she had/has a whole lot of others that I think would be censored. My sisters and I often find ourselves popping up with what she would say when the theme permits. funny isn't it. She drives us nuts most of the time, but...
my mom wasn't so much for words, but her example is one i can "hear".....thank you joni...these brought a smile to my heart..and face!
love you,
kimberly
now my dad on the other hand ALWAYS had something to say...more like irenka's mom :) just the other day he said again "such is life in the far west in the land of the bong bong trees"....i've heard that all my life! :)
So true, so true! Yes it's funny how mom's become so smart as we get older. And now my daughter is realizing I'm not too dumb either, and soon her daughters will see how smart she is!
Oh, I really like the latest picture of Earl. I can see why you are drawn to him......he has something you can't pinpoint, but he has it!
Didn't mean to make a possessive out of the plural moms!
This is so true. When I was a teenager I thought I knew everything. I learned that the older I got the smarter I got. I look at my children and grandchildren and see that sometimew they think they know everything. They will go through the same thing, that is life I guess.
My Mother said the same things and more and boy was she right. I miss her so much.

Thanks for stopping by my blog and for the kind words on my ATC's.
Hi there Joni! School is back in session and I have been looking forward to sitting here and catching up with you.
I like and can relate to all of these words of wisdom.
Now I am trying to sit here and think of words of wisdom that I grew up with. Hmmm....I credit my mom with so much but at the moment I can't think of any one thing I can remember her saying all the time.
That is really some very honest words to live by. I like them, I try to practice them myself, and I thank you for putting them out there as reminders for all of us. Have a great day.
Wonderful words to always live by. Loving your blog...m.
All of those are pearls of wisdom.
I think our moms are THE smartest women on earth, they had us!!! wonderful blog

Such beautiful words of wisdom!
I like your mom's words of wisdom. Wish my mom had been like that, but she had other good qualities. I guess the best thing she taught me was to try and find humor in life. I do that, I think. hahaha
Beautiful Joni...thank you for reminding of words I had forgotten. My Mom wasn't so poetic but she taught me so much in different ways. I agree, she got smarter as I got older and was my best friend. I sure miss her!
Wonderful post as always :)
