happiness is...a wet nose

The pooch apparently got into some poison...but I really don't know how or where because she's under my feet most of the time...so it's a mystery to me, but she is feeling much better and will soon be barking at the wind and chasing her tail in no time...thankfully. I never thought I'd miss a cold, wet nose in my ear in the wee hours of the morning, but close calls are gentle reminders of the everyday things we should celebrate...even if we aren't fully awake to appreciate them!

I'm so HAPPY =) Lacey Love is going to be dog gone great! she's such a sweet soul...I feel like you do, I miss my fat cat when she's not in at night when I go to bed, I seriously dont sleep good when shes not in bed above my head, and I know I get so mad at her for waking me up at 4:45 or 5:00 am, I could spit hair balls at her, but I'd truley miss that if something was to ever happen to her!! ENJOY the wet nose!!

Sorry to hear about your dog. It is hard when they are not feeling well. I know what you mean about a cold wet nose in the wee hours. Your last few posts are so wonderful. Reading them brings such a sense of peace.

I am so glad to hear that Lacey is going to be fine. It is so hard when our furry friends feel low and can't explain what is going on. And yet they still try so hard to be devoted and attentive.

I am also really glad to be back at your site and enjoying a visit with you. I really missed this.

Tomorrow is Friday...don't forget the fruit and jello! What will you serve with that? I so wish I was there doing this honorable deed with you. It would be so fun and rewarding to cook it up, stash it in the car, and then head off to meet all those people that are looking forward to seeing you. Oh how I can see that in my head, and I think, how blessed you are. And how lucky they are. Makes for a really good day.
