The kids wandered home last night with five loads of laundry and minds full of conversation. I've never been so excited to do laundry before...this morning Erik and I went to the Farmer's Market and I bought culinary lavender, lemon cucumbers, zucchini bread, and jalapeno bread.
We stopped for good coffee and it was like old times.
This weekend my heart is full of JoY ~
What little things have blessed your weekend?

That is so good. I'm glad you are enjoying your kids being back for a weekend.
Aw, that's great!!! Enjoy; I'm so happy for you, laundry and all! :)
Yes, isn't it funny how the things the detested before, become such a joy now? I don't mind at all going to see my daughter 90 miles away, clean her house and help with the laundry. I think it is about the time we spend together makes the mundane things seem so...
fun? Enjoyable? A pleasure? Yes whatever you want to call it, I enjoy my time with my children, no my new friends.
Oh, that is so wonderful. Isn't is amazing the joy we feel in the company of our children as they grow up and begin their own lives?
The time together becomes a gift.
I could just see your smile now! hey those lemon cucumbers are pretty good uh? I am happy that you got to enjoy some time with kid's, laundry and all. =)

isn't it wonderful how those little things can bring so much joy as we get to reconnect with our children as they start this journey of becoming independent?.....the value on them just shifts and is appreciated.....on both sides!
