a beautiful day

a day defined by grace

understanding

a mother and daughter

breathing in the sweet scent of lavender

tasting lavender tea, lavender scones, lavender lemonade

a little girl all grown up

treasured moments marking change

the end of one season

is the beginning of another...

to my beautiful daughter~
I enjoyed today immensely...and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for our little "field trip" to the lavender farm...it was a lovely surprise and I know you'll read this because you keep pretty close tabs on your mom :) and I love that you do.

ahhhh dear joni.....
beautiful...and what a love filled gesture from kristin to take you to such a sweet, wonderful, restful place...to share memories at the end of one "season" and the beginning of this new adventure.....i LOVE lavender...i made sure that when we went to san juan island, that we visited the palindaba lavender farm....and tasted chocolate lavender ice cream......this will indeed need to be a trip of mine in the future....thinking of you these past few days dear friend....knowing your heart...having been there before.
and i LOVE your words.....saying so much, from the heart, so beautifully....as always.
keeping you in my heart and thoughts....and sending hugs to wrap you in....and love.
