Tuesday's Treasure

Remember these?

I was rummaging around in my little "treasure" drawer looking for something to share today and this is what I came up with...an Italian Charm Bracelet from a few years back. Kind of funny now...the craze these little charms stirred up...and not cheap either! But they were certainly fun to "collect" and receive as gifts.

Most of my charms represent little pieces of me.

The letter J of course for my name ~
A camera for my love of photography ~
Cycling because I was a Cycling Merit badge counselor for the Boy Scouts of America ~
"Best Buddies" from my dear friend Paula ~
An umbrella reminds me to be carefree...walk in the rain ~
Dragonfly because I have a never-ending love for them, don't know why ~
ASL "I Love You", a gift from my kids ~

Just a few to share...it would be interesting to hear what you have on yours if you have one packed away somewhere.

I am a total girly girl and love all kinds of jewelry but don't own a charm bracelet probably because of the cost. Well, I take that back... I do own a bracelet, but few charms to dangle on it, so it's long forgotten and I'll have to see if I can dig it up.

Your's looks so special and I know looking and wearing it brings with it great memories. Good for you Joni. I love your Tuesday Treasure smile today!

I was never fortunate enough to have one. They were nice though and a good item to pass down in the family.

I bought one of these for my used to be step-granddaughter at Christmas a long time ago. I never did send her any more to add.

I went thru a charm bracelet phase awhile back and oh gosh, the jangle got on my nerves! I was working then, so maybe I should get it back out and try again :)
