today

It's a beautiful day...the sun is shining and I am loving it. Yesterday's hard work makes me smile today. There is new life popping up everywhere...makes me thankful, gives me a new perspective, renews my spirit...oh, feel the excitement. I think today would be a good day to go shopping for Erik! Today I will embrace the changes of growing up and not let them get stuck in my throat and well up in my eyes. I think the kids and I are going to see the movie Bucket List today and that inspired me to make my own "Bucket List"...only instead of it being a list of things to do before I die, I'm thinking of it as my list of things to do because I can, but I don't like the "can list"...just sounds too bathroomy...how about the "free to be" list...hmmm, I don't know. Any suggestions? Hey, while you are out and about in the blogosphere check out this site. I would participate, but I have already sent out sweet, lovely Valentine gifts (which should be arriving in your mailboxes soon), but there is still time even if you just want to put your name in the hat. I might do it next year, because so many participate and it sounds like fun!

It's warm here too and I have daffodils popping up in the oddest places. How they got there, I have no idea unless the squirrels replanted them. I too received my precious valentine yesterday and couldn’t wait to tear into the package. I was like a school child. I love my valentine and will treasure it always as a special memory from a friend I have never see with my eyes, but see everyday through her words. Joni you have taught me so much about life and love. Thank you so much!
