Good morning sunshine! Ah, I love how you radiate through my pores and pull the corners of my mouth up toward you. It's so nice to have you back old friend, after the days of rain and wind. It's such a serene moment to watch the leaves bow and drip their morning dew just so they too can feel your warmth. I close my eyes and lift my face and think "this is just what I needed". The morning is quiet and spirals of heat billow from the fence tops in an attempt to dance for you. I will enjoy this moment, this time of day that you have so graciously unfolded in my presence. I will soak in all that warms my heart knowing that today begins winter solstice and I may not see you for awhile.
